Paul is the founder and CEO of Heritage Innovation. He has a rich experience of working internationally across a wide spectrum of heritage organisations, leading and delivering a diverse range of cultural heritage projects and services. These range from multi-million dollar urban regeneration schemes to bespoke work on historic sites and buildings.
Paul has extensive knowledge of UK and international regulatory frameworks for archaeology and cultural heritage, and a long-standing commitment to ethical professionalism and public engagement.
Building on our core competencies, we draw on a wide range of associates to create teams as appropriate on a project-by-project basis. We have an extensive network of specialists across a range of disciplines and territories, who provide knowledge and support as needed.
With over 40 years of experience as an archaeologist, anthropologist and heritage consultant, Gerry is an expert in heritage and social impact assessment, conservation and management planning.
He has undertaken ESIAs and CMPs in over 35 countries. Gerry has also engaged extensively with professional practice and ethics, through professional institutes in the UK, US and Germany. He is a former Chair of the Chartered Institute for Archaeologists, and has published extensively on various aspects of heritage policy and practice.
Freelance
Charles is an archaeologist and cultural heritage consultant with 30 years of experience across the UK, Europe, Africa and the Middle East. He has worked as a principal heritage consultant, assessing and managing the impacts of energy and infrastructure projects; seeking to retain a focus on the wider significance of the results of archaeological work and cultural heritage studies for local communities.
Charles continues to play a part in a range of research, resource management and capacity development projects, with a particular focus on Africa.
Quercus Heritage
Esther is an historic environment consultant who provides informed expert advice. She has experience of working on a wide range of projects in all areas of the historic environment, particularly focused on listed buildings, historic buildings and places, and conservation areas. With a background in real estate finance, Esther understands development economics and viability, and has managed multi-million development projects. She is a Trustee of the Architectural Heritage Fund and a committee member of the Twentieth Century Society.
Robinson Wild Consulting
Michael has extensive knowledge of GIS applications, remote sensing and digital approaches to heritage management and archaeology. He’s managed large/complex heritage datasets for infrastructure projects, designing and implementing databases and geo-spatial platforms, as well as the documentation. Michael's previous experience includes work for large engineering organisations on major projects in the UK, US, Serbia, Gibraltar, Nigeria, Armenia and Turkey,
Michael is a member of the Digital Committee for ICOMOS-UK.
